--and the props keep turning--

There are many factors which dictate the "fun" scale of a day of flying. But, I bet we have all had the experience of wishing we were driving instead of flying!!

I was instructed that the daily reading of NOTAMS is an absolute necessity. But it seemed I was always prepared for a hideous situation on my path of flight. As it happens, problems were seldom, EXCEPT IN MY IMAGINATION!

I've been a General Aviation pilot for 35 years and like to dwell and cartoon on the light side of aviation.
Whether you fly for pleasure, business or as a professional, we all at least most of us, all started at small airports and small FBO's.
The experiences we've all had are part and parcel of the love of flying.
